How it works
- Step 1
Initial review
We look at your current records, monthly transaction volume and filing obligations. You then get a fixed monthly fee from our transaction bands and a clear list of what is included.
- Step 2
Onboarding and opening balances
We set up or tidy your chart of accounts in cloud accounting software and agree opening balances with you, so every later report starts from a correct base.
- Step 3
Monthly close
Each month you upload bank statements, invoices and receipts. We record, reconcile and close the month, and send you a short list of any questions.
- Step 4
Reports and review
You receive your management report and we walk you through the numbers that matter: profit, cash, money owed to you and money you owe.
- Step 5
Year-end and tax
After the year closes we prepare your financial statements and corporate tax workings. If your company needs an audit, we prepare your audit report with an approved audit firm.
What our accounting and bookkeeping service covers
Bookkeeping records what happened. Accounting turns those records into numbers you can rely on and act on. We offer both as one service for one monthly fee. It includes the day-to-day recording of sales, purchases and bank activity, and also the reviews, adjustments and reports that make your accounts complete and correct at the end of each month and each year.
Every month we reconcile your bank and card accounts, check that sales and purchases are recorded in the right period, and follow up on unusual balances. We look for things a busy owner often misses, such as a supplier paid twice, a customer invoice never issued, or personal spending mixed into the business account.
At year-end we post the adjustments that turn monthly records into proper annual accounts: accruals, prepayments, depreciation on equipment and vehicles, and provisions where needed. We then prepare your financial statements in line with IFRS, the standard used for company accounts in the UAE.
Management reports you can use
A set of accounts is only useful if you read it. Our management reports are short and in plain English. They show your profit for the period, your cash position, what customers owe you and what you owe suppliers, compared with the previous month or the same period last year.
If you want more detail, we can report profit by branch, project, product line or salesperson, as long as your transactions are coded that way. We agree the format with you at the start, so the report answers the questions you actually ask about your business.
Banks, landlords and investors in Dubai often ask for recent management accounts. When your books are kept up to date every month, you can send them a reliable set of numbers within days instead of scrambling to rebuild months of records.
Accounting for VAT and corporate tax
Corporate tax in the UAE is 0% on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9% above that. The return and any payment are due within 9 months of the end of your tax period. Your taxable income starts from your accounting profit, so the quality of your accounts directly affects your tax return.
If your revenue is AED 3 million or less in the current and all previous tax periods, you may be able to elect Small Business Relief and be treated as having no taxable income. The relief now runs to tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2029. You still need accounts and you still need to file a corporate tax return to claim it.
Some businesses need audited financial statements for corporate tax, including Qualifying Free Zone Persons and businesses with revenue above AED 50 million. You must also keep accounting and tax records for at least 7 years. We keep your records organised so they are ready for an auditor or an FTA review.
Pricing by monthly transactions
Your monthly fee for accounting and bookkeeping depends on how many transactions you have each month. A transaction is usually one bank statement line, sales invoice or supplier bill. All prices are in AED and exclude 5% VAT.
Up to 50 transactions a month: AED 350. 51 to 100 transactions: AED 500. 101 to 200 transactions: AED 750. 201 to 300 transactions: AED 950. 301 to 500 transactions: AED 1,200. Over 500 transactions: custom quote.
If you take accounting and bookkeeping, VAT returns and corporate tax with us together, a 10% bundle saving applies to the recurring fees. Use our cost calculator for an instant estimate, and we confirm your band after a short review.
Switching from another accountant mid-year is common. We take over from the last closed month, check the opening balances and fix any gaps we find, so your year-end accounts and tax return are not delayed by the change. If months are missing, catch-up bookkeeping is quoted after a short review.
Penalties and risks to avoid
Late corporate tax registration
Every company must register for corporate tax, including free zone companies and those claiming Small Business Relief. The penalty for late registration is AED 10,000.
Missing the corporate tax deadline
Your corporate tax return and payment are due within 9 months of the end of your tax period. Penalties apply for late filing and late payment.
Poor record keeping
You must keep accounting and tax records for at least 7 years. In cases of evasion or non-registration, the FTA can look back up to 15 years.
Questions about accounting & Bookkeeping
How much do accounting services cost in Dubai?
Our accounting and bookkeeping starts from AED 350 per month (excl. VAT) for up to 50 transactions a month, and rises by band to AED 1,200 for 301 to 500 transactions. Above 500 transactions we give you a custom quote.
What is the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?
Bookkeeping is recording each transaction. Accounting adds reconciliations, adjustments, management reports and year-end financial statements. Most companies that file corporate tax returns need both, so we provide them as one service for one monthly fee.
Do I need an accountant if I qualify for Small Business Relief?
Yes. Small Business Relief must be elected in your corporate tax return, so you still need to file a return. You also need accurate revenue figures to show you are within the AED 3 million limit.
Can you prepare financial statements for my auditor?
Yes. We close your year and prepare the financial statements and supporting schedules. If you need an audit, we prepare your audit report with an approved audit firm, which gives the audit opinion.
Which accounting software do you use?
We work in cloud software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Xero, and we can also work with Tally and Odoo. If you already have software that works, we usually keep it.
Can you take over from my current accountant mid-year?
Yes. We start from your last closed month, check the opening balances and fix any gaps. We ask your previous accountant or your team for the ledgers and supporting files.
